Hornchurch FC are delighted to announce the signing of defender Sam Kuffour who joins the Urchins on loan from Colchester United.
Sam joins the Urchins from Colchester United, having signed from Maldon & Tiptree in February.
Prior this, Sam as a youngster was with Brentford and West Ham’s Academies before joining Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel.
Not long after his return to the UK, he signed for Maldon & Tiptree before joining the U’s.
Speaking of the move, manager Daryl McMahon said;
I had seen him play last year for Maldon & Tiptree a couple of times. We knew about his potential and we are really happy that Colchester United and Danny Cowley have been in touch and let us have him to help push his development.
We hope what we did last year with the players we took on loan and aiding their development that we are getting recognised now, with clubs happy for us to have their players. We hope Sam can develop as the other boys last year and we sure he can.
Sam will wear the number 22 as his squad number for the upcoming campaign.
Welcome to the Urchins Sam!
As per all deals, the transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
