We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Henry Sandat on an initial one-month loan deal from Sutton United.

Henry initially came through the ranks at Southend United before joining Championship side Hull City.  He then re-joined the Shrimpers and then Wealdstone on loan before moving to Sutton United in January.

Speaking of the move, Henry said;

I’m buzzing to be here. The team has started well and hopefully I can come in and add to that.

I spoke to Daryl a couple days ago and he sold the club to me by the way he wanted to play and how I would fit in to that.

If I’m being honest the last 6-8 months in football for me have been the toughest I’ve had to deal with but hopefully this loan can help me get back to where I want to be and I’m grateful to Daryl and Hornchurch for giving me this opportunity.

It will be great to see what we can achieve this year.

Manager Daryl McMahon added;

He is an exciting attacking player who we are looking forward to working with, he has plenty of flair and I’m sure he will excite you all. I’d like to thank Sutton United in trusting us to develop their talent.

Henry will join up with the squad for Saturday’s match against Chippenham Town. He will wear the number 23 shirt.

Welcome to the Urchins Henry.

As per all deals, the transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
