Hornchurch FC are delighted to announce the signing of defender George Wind from Southend United on loan until January.

George, who plays as a right-back, joins the Urchins from Southend United. He previously played for Billericay Town, where he made well over 100 appearances for the Isthmian League Premier side.

Speaking of the move, manager Daryl McMahon said;

“We are delighted to have a player of George’s ability join us. He adds real quality in and out of possession on the right-hand side of the pitch for us. He is a really good athlete and good age to add energy and quality to our group.”

George added;

“I’m buzzing to be on board, and looking forward to getting going. It’ll be good for me to come and get some much needed game time and to try and help the team maintain their great run of form, starting with tonight!”
