Hornchurch FC are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Arthur Nasta has joined the Urchins on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Arthur joins the Urchins having spent last season at the Wolves Academy. Previously during the 2023/24 season, Nasta was given his first taste of senior football in the Southern League Division One South, the seventh tier, with Larkhall, where he kept 16 clean sheets in 44 appearances and narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs on goal difference.
Speaking of the move Arthur said;
“I’m really excited to get going and have heard really good things about the group. I’m sure we’ll be able to put a good foot forward and on a personal note I’m excited to showcase myself and get more valuable experience.”
Manager Daryl McMahon added;
“We are delighted to be able to welcome Arthur to the club, he is an exciting young keeper and we looking forward to working with him. We thank Wolves in trusting us with one of their young talents. As a club we have worked really hard in the last 18 months to build strong relationships with clubs to trust us in developing their talents.”
Arthur has joined the pre-season camp and is in contention for Saturday’s trip to Norwich where we face Gorleston.
His squad number, alongside the rest of the squad, will be confirmed in due course.
Hornchurch would like to thank Scott Bevan and Wolverhampton Wanderers for their trust in allowing Arthur to come on loan to us and for their total professionalism in getting the deal done!
Welcome to club Arthur.
As per all deals, the transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
